After becoming crippled and mentally disabled, John of Kyotera village in Uganda, can no longer care for himself or his family of four children. Their mother died from the same illness a few years ago and the children live in great worry, and also, great poverty. John’s oldest daughter, Maureen, who is 11 years old, now must care for her father and siblings and the only resources they are receiving are from Nelish Ministry, who have their own orphans to care for as well. This is why we greatly need help from caring people like you.
Love Extends is now working to help Nelish Ministry raise $3000 USD specifically dedicated to providing food, mattresses, bathing soap and other basic needs for one full year for this family that is now led by 11-year-old Maureen (she is pictured on the far right in the green shirt).
Brave and loving Maureen feeds her father, helps him go the bathroom, bathes him and must do everything for John’s care. Please help Nelish Ministry founder, Richard, raise these funds either by donating directly to their GoFundMe account or by sharing John and Maureen’s story with people that you know and on social media.
Also, Richard has informed me that a kind brother in California, USA, is willing to match all donations to the Nelish Ministry GoFundMe account, for which all proceeds will directly benefit John’s family until the goal of $3000 USD is met!
We greatly appreciate your love and support for this family that is completely dependent on outside donations. May the good Lord bless your kind heart in all that you do!
